These Black Mussels are locally farmed off the coast of Santa Barbara. They are known for their fantastic, fresh flavor and cook up plump and tasty. Excellent steamed with white wine, in tomato sauce and in any seafood pasta.
Mussels are plump and meaty, with a tender chewiness when prepared correctly. With their mild sea taste, they go well with a multitude of flavors.
