Fontina is a Swedish style cow's milk cheese. It is a semi soft with a creamy texture and subtle tart, sweet and nutty flavours characterized by a mild yeasty finish. It is very versatile, slicing and grating easily. It melts well too, making it perfect for sauces, casseroles, gratins, dips and fondue.
